In just under four weeks, on April 28, 2025, a new run of the online course for Laudato Si‘ animators will begin, offered for free by the Laudato Si Movement. Participants will have the opportunity to connect two previously separate areas of their lives – their Christian faith and care for the world. They will meet a global community of like-minded Christians as well as people in the Czech Republic who have already completed the course and are implementing what they learned in their communities. They will have the chance to experience the universal church in its diversity and find new ways to collaborate and possibly make friends in their homeland. Laudato Si‘ Movement is a global community of prayer and action that was established in 2015 concurrently with the publication of the encyclical of the same name. Its mission is to "inspire and mobilize the Catholic community to care for our common home and to achieve climate and ecological justice, in cooperation with all people of goodwill." The focus of its activities takes place in local communities revitalized by passionate individuals who, as Laudato Si‘ animators in their parishes and communities, promote ecological spirituality and a sustainable lifestyle, thus working to bring the encyclical Laudato Si' to life. To support this, an online course is available that takes place at one's own pace within a virtual community. The course is in English with Czech support.
